Chromebook: Connecting to Hidden Casting Networks (Only for FSMS, FSHS, and CTE)
Step 1: Click the time at the bottom-right of the screen to open the Chromebook Menu.
Step 2: Click the signal+ icon left of the blue slider.
Step 3: Fill in the SSID field with your school-room#. The school IDs are fes, ses, les, fsms, fshs, and cte. Example: les-475.
Step 4: Click the drop down arrow under Security then select PSK (WPA or RSN).
Step 5: Fill in the Password field with #Cast[School][room]. Example: #CastSes278
Your mobile devices such as cell phones, personal laptops, and more may be connected to the room’s chromecasting network as well.
The casting network is much slower than SCPSBYOD, so it is recommended to only access it when casting is needed.
