Chromecast (Google TV): Signing In With Your Work Account

By default, every Google TV is signed in with the school’s Google account. For a personalized experience and to avoid syncing your private data via Google Smart Lock with EVERY TV signed in with the same account, everyone should log in with their work accounts/emails.

 

Follow these steps to sign out of the School’s Google account and make the default account your very own work account:

 

Step 1: Navigate to the top-right section of the screen to access the menu then select the current user.

Step 2: Select “Manage accounts”

Step 3: Select “Add another account“

Step 4: Enter your work email address then password.

Step 5: Once signed in, select “Accept” then “Accept”.

Step 6: Return to the current user, and select “Remove”.

Step 7: When prompted to choose a new Google TV account, select your work account. You are now connected and defaulted as the primary Google TV user.
