Cast to a Google Chromecast

The following article will teach you how to cast your device’s screen or a Chrome browser tab to a Google Chromecast.

Instructions

  1. In the Chrome browser, click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner.

     

  2. Click the “Cast” menu item.

     

  3. At the bottom of the menu that appears, click the “Sources” drop down box and select whether you’d like to cast your desktop or a single tab in the Chrome browser.

     

  4. Select your Chromecast from the list to begin casting.

     

If you do not see your Chromecast in the list, please check that it is plugged in and powered on. If you still have issues, please contact the Technology Department.
